DOLLY, formerly Tag #531 was saved from Strouds Kill Pen, Oklahoma, USA on May 29, 2019. She is a Sorrel Saddle Mule, approx 18 yrs old. She had been used as a pack mule. She was in very poor condition upon arriving here in September. She became ill in October and we had our vet out several times to determine underlying cause of her condition. Our vet determined, after several tests, that Dolly had Hepatic Disease in her liver from being malnourished previously as well as having an ulcer from this disease. Sadly after several weeks of treatment Dolly could not fight any more and suddenly passed away November 24. Although we had her only a short time she was such a sweet sweet girl. She was surrounded by love for her short time with us. Rest in Peace Dolly.
