ROSE, formerly Tag #755 was saved from Moore’s Equines For Rescue in Jonestown, Pennsylvania, USA on April 16, 2019. Once again anonymous people made donations to save her life which we are grateful for. She was a Bay Draft Molly Mule, 16 years old and broke to ride and drive. She had come from an Amish farm and we think her and Fritz came from the same previous owner. Sadly we never did get to meet Rose as she never made it home. She had been covered in lice and had many old and new harness scars over her body. Life had not been good to her. Her immune system had been compromised and became very weak to the point of not being able to stand up. We made the decision to have her euthanized while at the quarantine barn so her suffering could come to an end. She was laid to rest there. Rest in peace Sweet Rose. You are always in our hearts and now you can run free!!!
